A U.S. House committee has released a new batch of photographs from the estate of the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, and they include some of the most powerful men in the world.
The images, handed over to the House Oversight Committee as part of an ongoing investigation, come from Epstein’s personal collection of nearly 100,000 photos.
Among those appearing in social settings are President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, film director Woody Allen, and former Trump White House adviser Steve Bannon.
Despite the high-profile faces, the committee notes that the pictures themselves do not show any illegal activity by the individuals pictured.
Even so, Democrats on the committee say the photos raise serious concerns about Epstein’s circles and the extent of his connections.
“It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” said Rep. Robert Garcia of California, the committee’s ranking member, according to NBC.
“These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”
Some of the newly published photos go beyond simple group snapshots. One image shows a table laid out with novelty condoms featuring Donald Trump’s face, with a sign behind them reading “Trump Condom $4.50.”
The committee’s photo release is part of a broader push to force the Department of Justice to make all remaining Epstein-related records public.
Lawmakers argue that only a full disclosure of the files can answer lingering questions about who Epstein spent time with, who may have enabled him, and what, if anything, powerful associates knew about his crimes.
For now, the images offer a glimpse into Epstein’s social world – one that mixed politics, business, and celebrity – while leaving many of the biggest questions still unresolved.
