Tori Spelling has lived in the spotlight since childhood, but the last few years have brought a kind of attention she never wanted.
Between health issues, a breakup, and constant moves, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star says her life with five children has felt deeply unstable.
Earlier this year, Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott ended their 17-year marriage.
McDermott first announced the split in a heartfelt Instagram post, saying they’d decided to go their separate ways after 18 years together, while promising to keep working as “loving parents” to their kids and asking for privacy.

Not long after the separation, another crisis hit. The rental home where Tori and the children were living turned out to have a serious mold problem.
Doctors advised them to get out, and the family suddenly had nowhere to go.
For a while, Spelling and her five kids — Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau — ended up living in an RV. Photos of the family at a campground spread online, and headlines quickly claimed that the actress had become “homeless.”
Eventually, they managed to find another house to rent. But even that place didn’t stay safe for long.
In mid-October, police ordered everyone in the area to evacuate because of an armed man nearby. A SWAT team surrounded the neighborhood, and Tori and the children had to leave their new home in a hurry.
A source close to the family says all this moving has taken a toll. Spelling is “trying to find her footing and doing her best to take care of her kids,” while juggling a recent hospital stay and the emotional fallout from her marriage ending.
According to the insider, Tori simply isn’t used to being uprooted over and over, especially with five children in tow.
Being pushed out of yet another rental was “scary for her and her children,” they explain. The kids are old enough to realize something is wrong, and their classmates know about the situation too, which means they’re getting questions at school about where they’re living now.
Spelling’s story is a reminder that even people who grew up wealthy and famous can find themselves in frighteningly unstable situations.
For now, she’s focused on keeping life as normal as possible for her children while they search — once again — for a place that truly feels like home.
